I've been buying from Nature's Pet for a few years. It's conveniently located and I can just stop during a walk. My golden retriever loves the training treats and she goes crazy for the freeze dried raw food. Haven't seen any of those 2 articles anywhere else! The staff is nice and my dog always gets a treat.

So the prices were hard to read on frozen pet food. Which was a pity as some looked reasonable. I asked for help to read them as I wasn't sure which food to get the clerk at 11:15 am instead of coming around to help said she had to know the brand or style to help me, even when I said that's what I was trying to decide. She was too lazy to come around the counter with No one else in the store and help me navigate. And was rude both in person and on the phone. Don't waste your time.
Edit: this is not a reflection on the chain. I have one of these in Beaverton, they are lovely. They were the closest so I went to spite the phone call because I thought maybe she was super busy. Clearly I was wrong, as when I tried to give her an out, instead of apologizing she said you're welcome to shop somewhere else, so maybe it's worth going the extra few miles to somewhere else.

Awesome neighborhood store.. recommend to any box store. Found everything i need and more for my dog & 2 cats. Very friendly, knowledgeable and prices are fair. Glad i found a new store to shop at from now on:)

Was recommended this place by a friend and checked it out (although it was out of my way). I was truly disappointed in the service. The cashier was very rude and short. They had samples for dog treats by cashier and I was helping myself to a couple of treats and cashier looked annoyed. I said thanks, and was just intentionally ignored. I will continue to go to my local dog store with their top tier customer service or order my hard to find food online. Save yourself a bad experience and go elsewhere.

I don't recommend this place. I recently bought a harness for my dog. We wanted to try a new style of harness and at the end it just did not work out for her. It's the type of "no pull harness" the leash in the front of the chest. When I checked out the lady said "make sure you have your receipt if you need to return". I return after trying it a few days. Naturally the tag on the leash we took off because we won't use it if the tag is on (bar code). Then I return WITH the packaging AND receipt to return it.... then same lady says I can't return it because it doesn't have the barcode.... a possible solution is 1. You can make a barcode. The receipt shows the exact harness bought 2. They end up using the code for the harness anyways to check out... Might as well have a sign that says "no returns or exchanges". Same thing happend with my parents cat. They bought canned food, she didn't like it. The canned foood has a barcode (they have a history to show the purchase) but they didn't have their receipt...
I am all for supporting small business, but when they don't work with you. You lose me as a client. Again, I don't recommend. Just seems like they don't want to find a solution.
