No debit option. Always a line almost out the door because their checkout process is painfully slow. Selection and pricing is average at best, not worth the inconvenience of the checkout delays. Disappointing - but would rather spend the extra time I wait in the checkout line driving the extra 5-10 minutes to a place with better product and service.

Update (May of 2024): still impossibly slow to the point I've had to leave the line after 15 min of waiting with a dozen people still in front of me. 2-3 checkout counters open max every time, none of them reliably prioritize online orders or move them through quickly. Truly a painful pace all for overpriced, limited selection.

Prioritizing $30 walk in customers over $150 online order customers is certainly a business strategy.... not one I'd choose to implement, but different strokes for different folks I guess.

It was all good just a week ago…

Until my wife and I went back on Wednesday, 8/21.
We were asked for id at the front desk. Everything went smoothly. My wife goes to one register and I go to the other. She is finished before me. As I’m paying, the older gentleman at the front desk comes back in and asks my wife to put her product down, takes it from her to hand to me.. to then tell her to exit due to an error they found after the fact that she had the product in her hands, ready to go home.

Procedures have to be in the moment rather than on demand. Human error can happen but our jobs are to reduce the errors as much as possible, especially if we’re the humans associated with the error.

Seems like the machine took longer to relay the information to them which would have felt much better being denied at that door rather than at the cashier AFTER having paid for the product.

I’m not sure if he was the manager on duty at the time but one of the workers didn’t seem pleased about how the older gentleman handled that situation.

My wife and I were upset as we are regulars there, racked in plenty of points. Unfortunately, my wife stated she doesn’t want to business there moving forward.

You know what they say, happy wife, happy life! :)
