Went in to get a full set of synthetic dreadlocks from the owner CJ, as I've wanted to get real ones forever but just can't commit, and was met with nothing but absolute love and care, she took her time to make sure I was comfortable and well educated before I was sent home with a fresh set of new hair I initially had no idea how to care for. And her store alone is just beautiful, well organized with a variety of natural products, some even made IN STORE. Great atmosphere, great products, amazing people, I will definitely be back. :)

They have some beautiful handmade products everything from candles, teas, wellness products that are beautifully hand made and can be customized for what you need as well. They have products for everyone men, women and even kids. Trinkets, crystals, oils, and so much more!! They even have a salon as well as getting custom hair dreads that you can get. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this little gem of a store out and also going online to find their Facebook page and following them to see what awesome events they hold. I have been to a few myself and was very happy and absolutely loved the meditation classes they have, crafting events and they are always adding more! You won't be disappointed with any service you get or any products your try. I myself love the different teas they make and love all the products I have bought as well.. 💜🌻😊 It's a great place with amazing service and products!

Balanced by the Moon is a place that provides many types of healing. If you need a new look with hair color, cut, or in my case (dreads). I really do love my new look. This is a trial period for me to decide on a life changing look. I'm choosing to get dreads done with my real hair next time. This style should last a couple of months. You can find all natural skin care products, tinctures, oils stones, salts, and a safe space to share your thoughts, affirmation, and goals without judgment. They hold all type of events from yoga, Reiki, crafting, and much more.. Feel free to ask CJ any questions you may have about natural remedies. If she doesn't know, she will do her best to find out. She will share knowledge to help you through whatever journey you may be on at that time. I will say it again and again. This is one of my most favorite places in Waterford, MI, even if it just stops by and chat.

We came today and painted a moon because of the solar ellipse and new moon that is happening tomorrow. We had so much fun and the shop is very cool. They have so many relaxing sents you can buy and soaps, oils, paints, etc and it is very fun. I loved this and am waiting for the next one!
