I've been shopping there for years, and the places usually pretty chill, but today the guys decided to have a conversation about gender politics that they definitely shouldn't have been having at work. They were upset that somebody they know got reprimanded for misgendering someone, and of course referred to the person's pronouns in a mocking way. I also agree that people shouldn't be reprimanded for unintentionally misgendering someone, but this was not the place to have that discussion. They also brought up someone on YouTube that interviews people, and in one of the interviews he was asking people what do they think about the gender disparities or gender inequities of people that get hired at Guantanamo Bay to interrogate and waterboard people. And then of course asking why they weren't upset that more men were hired than women to do the job. Before anyone says this didn't happen, I have a less than 30 seconds snippet of the tail end of the conversation, and I'm posting a longer snippet of the conversation on my YouTube channel. I really have enjoyed this place. But if the employees are going to make their politics something they discuss in the store, that means I'm going to have to shop at a place that aligns with my values, because now it's integrated into being a part of the business.

I obviously come here for the great products but mostly its the staff. Super nice guys, very knowledgeable. If your doc can't figure out what's wrong with you come here and ask these modern day shamans. Also you know a nutrition stores good when all the employees are jacked.
