I have been part of Midtown neighborhood for over 6 years. I’m a massage therapist student and looking to source locally. I’m also spiritual and am a Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi Style MT. I am Covid Centered and POC too. I believe in combining Spirituality and Evidence Based Science. The outside looks amazing, so I thought after seeing it for so long I should check it out! The moment I walked in, I had an instantly bad vibe. The clerk seemed to stare me down and coldly asked, “What are you looking for?” No welcome in. And the other employees didn’t seem to acknowledge me, but just glance. I said I’m looking for Chinese Medicinal Herbs, and clerk said, “Well I don’t know what you’re looking for. We mostly have Western herbs.” , I asked what Chinese herbs they do have, and they named off a couple without saying the benefits of them. I then stated I’m looking for Chinese Herbal Tea. Cold aura. I quickly glanced at the shelf and noticed familiar names as I cook a lot with Asian ingredients. I also noticed the dogs, which though cute, is not sanitary for people allergic to dogs. I should have read the negative reviews before coming here. I noticed most of them are from Black / Latino POC and Covid Conscious people. If you’re looking for Asian Medicinal Herbs, just make the drive to Mekong Market and support Asian Herbalists. And if you’re looking for a COVID-Safe Natural Vegan body shop that also has essential oils, check out Strawberry Hedgehog close by on Thomas and 15th Ave.

I love this spot! I was in need of some herbs and I totally found this wonderful place by accident, or did I? I mean, Got Herbs? Well she sure does!! The pricing was absolutely amazing and affordable too. It was one of those, I’ll take one of everything please, situation for me. Also, I buy candles 🕯 all the time and hands down she has the best burning 🔥 candles I’ve ever used! She also out priced any other location I have bought from in the past. This is for sure my new “Go to” spot. If you need tea, herbs, spices, candles, or vitamins Stop Here Buy Here you will not regret it! The intentionality and love poured into this shop is evident and any assistance you need, Sue is always willing to help anyone walking thru her door with authenticity and experience. This will always be my go-to for any bulk herbs, natural products, and now sea moss gel. I hope more people will consider supporting local and joining the growing community at Green Goddess House of Herbs!

Most amazing collection of herbs and teas. I buy my vintage earl grey and my irish sea moss there. I love this store and could spend hours here. Sue is also so nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love her sweet pomeranians who are the best store greeters ever. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

I love this place. I was a lil put off at first because in CA a place that doesn't have you way out your own herbs is about to try to sell you a bunch of products and give "the herb king" a chance to soap box. Not the case here. Well stocked. Wonderful selection. Knowledgeable folks.
