This is a fantastic grocery store. I go here at least once a week for years. Nice selection of produce, but I would like to see more domestically grown stuff. I understand importing tomatoes and other hot weather annuals from Mexico during early spring, but cold weather crops such as brassica (broccoli, kale, cabbage) grows so well right in this area.

Really nice, clean, high-end natural grocery store in the back part of Castro Valley Marketplace. It is similar to a Whole Food on a smaller scale. They have a Wellness Area for your health and beauty needs, organic produce and fruits, a salad bar, hot soups, grab and go food as well as assorted cheeses. Right now, they are still putting things in shelves and getting organized. Can't wait until the place is fully up and running!!

They never stock enough brown cow maple yogurt, and I would buy 6 at once but every single time when they understock, somebody else already got there. So I bought 4 organic gallon milks so I can freeze 2 and make less trips. I recommend straus milk, the whole milk is so excellent. Plus the forager mango drink and babaghanoug, see pics.

You can find everything organic here including oils and vitamins. I myself am an herbalist and am happy to be able to find somewhere local and not online to go for my health products. 🙂

It was ok. Overpriced items that I can get for less someplace else. There were a few specialty items/sections, and a few good items on sale. The best thing was the camera man pictured?
