We were staying at the Moxy Hotel and noticed Blum while driving. Blum has an awesome selection of pre-rolls, flower, vape cartridges, edibles and dabs. Today we were looking for pre-rolls and a cartridge.

The guy behind the counter saw that I was white, and tried to charge me over double… I I had looked it up online earlier. He had an attitude with me right away, JUST b/c I look different… like someone he hates, so it’s okay then? I hadn’t said a word. My money spends the same, but being treated like a “mark”, is unacceptable. You employ openly racist people that turn business away, and you should be aware of it.

By far, I think this is my home for dispensaries. The security guard was pretty awesome at the door. I thought he was a cop. I felt well protected. The front area was clean. It was no weirdos hanging around in the front you as you come in or go I loved it. The place is very welcoming and you just get a feeling of safety in the place as you’re doing your shopping :-) and they have an awesome system the more you come the more points and the better your prizes. I love it and the tenders are awesome. They’re very knowledged on everything that they have at the counters and in the glass booths, and if they don’t have it, they can get it for you order it and they have drive up service in the back. You don’t even have to get out of your car isn’t that awesome so you can park in the front or park in the back or you can easily just call your order, say this is the best one of the best cannabis dispensaries around Oakland right now

Great variety of products. They always have specials and offer rewards points for purchases. Convenient and secure curbside parking. Rarely do you encounter a line. At Best lines are no more than five minutes long. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. The best cannabis dispensary in the East Bay. I wrote a poem about them in my new book., AFFLATUS INBOUND

No. And No! Go to COOKIES for best service, prices and experience (Broadway and 19th) Go to STIIIZY for vibes and deals (Telegraph and 21st). For Black and brown folks, for neurodivergent customers and sensitive humans. Your experience matters. I was harassed and made extremely uncomfortable by multiple white presenting tenders and managers at Blum. I revisited after much time and became retraumatized! Do Not support businesses that make neighborhood members uncomfortable and unsafe.
