The staff is wonderful, welcoming and very helpful. The main reason I'm giving a 2 star review is the removal of the security. At the green lake location you are right on aurora. Anybody who lives in seattle knows aurora isn't known for its safety so clearly removing security was a poor choice. Protect your staff and customers and add the security back on. It was very jarring just being able to walk in without anyone at the door Update: changed to 1 star for the lame copy paste response

A great shop, the employees are very welcoming and quick to help. It's really too bad that management, instead of addressing safety issues, has decided to roll back security measures. No more security at the door and less staffing during the latest hours, on Aurora and in the climate of an industry where violent robberies are common, feels like bad faith from the company. They're not just putting employees at risk, but guests as well. Now the manager from another store is leaving fake reviews 🤦🏽 Would have been 5 stars without the obvious security issues, would have been 4 without the fake reviews. Dockside, I know y'all read these, do the right thing and negotiate safety measures with your employees, they're the ones that do all the work there and know best.

I am a big fan of dockside stores. Their deals, friendliness, knowledge of their products and wait times are why i frequent their stores exclusively. I noticed some recent changes that have me worried about continuing to frequent these stores - namely safety. I wish there were still security to provide safety and for both staff and customers. I hope management reverses course and stops retaliating towards staff who have raised these important concerns. I would give it 5 stars if it werent for the poorly addressed safety policy.

I can’t recommend this dockside location enough! All the dockside’s I’ve visited have been delightful but the folks here are especially friendly and I always leave feeling a little better than when I arrived. They’re super fast with online orders and they’ve been adding more product information to the ordering site which makes it even easier to get a great product or try something new. Great energy all around, I highly recommend this place.

I love the staff at Dockside Green Lake! They’re friendly, kind and knowledgeable. They’re the reason Dockside has become my go-to shop. My only concern is that the management recently removed security from this location. It feels significantly less safe for me as a customer and for the staff to have no one on the door, especially on Aurora Ave. I hope this is only temporary and security will return soon.
