The lady running the front was great. I came here to buy butane but my license was stuck in the wallet, she was very patient though. Also gave me tape so I could take it out quicker next time.

Smoker Unfriendly

I’ve been going to the Lafayette Smoker Friendly for over 2 years now. I loved going their because it is close by and the staff are nice. However, in the recent months they have hired new staff. One staff member in particular has caused me to seek my business elsewhere. The blue eyed older lady that works there has terrible customer service. I went in yesterday for a pack of cigarettes and some rolling papers. I politely asked her for the papers and she told me “No!”
She took the papers and ringed me up. I told her I needed a pack of cigarettes too and she said that I was demanding today. I was taken aback by her uncomfortable atmosphere and gave her my debit card instead of my I.D. to which she gave me another “No!”
I work in customer service and it requires patience and professionalism. As an employee you should be pleasant to interact with, this lady has a grating personality. I have gone back and given her many chances but frankly she has repelled me from returning. Additionally, one time I went in and this lady was dealing with an older gentleman. He was struggling with his payment and took a long time to get checked out. When he finally left the lady looked at me and contemptuously rolled her eyes. I would go back if I knew she didn’t work there anymore.
