I’ve frequented this dispensary multiple times, but I’ve finally hit my limit. There are two annoying issues that management needs to address. Despite politely asking the staff (who are mostly in their 20s) several times not to refer to me as "honey" or "love," they continue to do it. As a woman with children older than these staff members, I find this incredibly disrespectful and patronizing. It is not "friendly"; it is unprofessional, especially after a customer has explicitly set a boundary. Tip Baiting: The service feels completely unauthentic. Every single transaction ends with a forced, surface-level compliment—usually about my nails or my outfit—right before it’s time to pay. It’s transparent, awkward, and frankly, a bit insulting to the customer's intelligence. I want to support local businesses, but I shouldn't have to feel annoyed or patronized just to make a purchase. I’ll be taking my business to a dispensary that understands basic professional boundaries and values genuine customer service over scripted flattery.

RIPPED OFF $20 — DO NOT SHOP AT PUFF UTICA Absolute scam artists. This was straight-up theft. I went to PUFF Cannabis in Utica today (February 7, 2026 at 3:22 PM) as a first-time customer for the new-customer discount. Bought two cartridges — $28 total after discount. I was 100% sure I was handing her exactly $29: one $20 + one $5 + four $1 bills. I even said out loud: “Please double-check that’s right.” Two $20 bills had stuck together, so I accidentally handed her $49 ($40 in twenties + $5 + four $1s). She looked at the money, smiled big, said “Oh wow, thank you!” and sent me on my way — no change whatsoever. The receipt proves the scam: Total due: $28.00 Cash tendered: $40.00 (she deliberately entered $9 LESS than she actually received) Change due: $12.00 — but she gave me ZERO. She knew I overpaid (she entered $40, which already showed she owed me $12 back), but she still pocketed the extra $9 that was never put in the register, plus kept the $12 change she was supposed to give me. That’s $21 stolen right in front of me. This is a disgusting cash scam they run on customers paying with $20s. They let bills stick together, under-ring the amount on purpose, pocket the difference off-books, and act like you just tipped them 50%. They count on you not noticing until you’re gone. Cashier: 44642 Register: 09 Time: 3:22 PM What’s the point of advertising a “new customer discount” if you’re just going to steal even more money than the customer owes? If someone hands you almost 50% extra as a “tip” on a $28 purchase, any honest person would double-check. She didn’t — because she wanted the cash in her pocket. I want my $21 back immediately. Pull the camera footage from Register 09 at 3:22 PM today and count the till. If this isn’t fixed I’m filing a complaint with the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency. Stay far away from this place if you pay cash. They will rob you in broad daylight. Worst dispensary experience I’ve ever had. Never going back. 1 star.

I went to Puff on van dyke in Utica and had a great experience. I worked with Heather and she was fantastic. She asked some good questions to better understand what I needed. She showed me several options of products to help me. She was mindful of cost factors and I left there feeling confident that the products I purchased would help me. will definitely refer a friend and return when I need more. I had a great experience yesterday 1/12 at Puff Utica thanks to the Christina. She was professional, respectful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Customer service was top-tier, and I felt welcomed the entire time. You can tell she actually cares about the customer. I’ll definitely be back because of her!

I had an excellent experience at Puff Dispensary in Utica, Michigan. The staff provided outstanding service and the store offered great deals, making my visit both enjoyable and worthwhile. I was especially pleased to see they carry my favorite brand, Banned Edibles, and I picked up the Deep Sleep Cherry, an absolute must-have. Yarnell is amazing! He listened to what I was asking for and had my products ready very quickly. He made sure I got a punch card for future visits and hooked me up with a first time gift. I appreciate his welcoming and friendly personality.

Customer service is poor. The girls up front have a bad attitude and so do the curbside pickup girls. States you can pay with card at curbside and the girl got a nasty attitude over it. Do not enjoy having to go inside either. Incredibly unorganized and chaotic. No one seems to have a good attitude there.
