I made a trek out here expecting it to be similarly impersonal as my experiences going to head shops in SF. Not the case! The two women running the store were incredibly friendly and very informative. They knew the ins and outs of all of their products, and were honest in their recommendations--not just spouting out a list of the most expensive goods.
When I asked for supplies to clean my equipment, they provided brochures and detailed instructions on how to go about doing so. They love their job, they are excited about their customers, and it shows. Stores like these are the reason why I enjoy shopping in person vs. buying items on amazon. You learn, you have a great experience, and you get expert opinions on the products you hope to buy. If you're looking for a pleasant experience in the bay area, I would recommend making the trek here.

Cool little ol lady in there the few times I have gone. Nice little smoke shop if you're into that. It's got adult stuff for naughty play with your partner.

Been there forever, consistent merch, fair prices. If for no other reason, although there are many good ones patronize their shop because they have stood the test of time and were in the community long before the current fad. They a stright forward local biz and I have always appreciated doing business with them. I like supporting my local, small businesses.

They've been there for as long as I can remember. They are extremely nice people and try their best to stay below or on par with competitive pricing. I usually do online shopping for low prices but they have the things you're looking for and it's here in Oakland. I will gladly support them as an Oakland native and I think everyone should too. I got 100 cones for a trip for $15. That's an extremely great deal! And they keep updating their inventory. Honestly, I hope to see this store flourish with our as much as Oakland.
