I’m sad to leave a 1 star review however Patrons of all levels, Even Able bodied patrons would have a difficult time accessing Aptos Natural Foods. There’s nothing NATURAL about accessibility here. Heartbroken this gem of a store doesn’t prescribe to common sense. I’m a disabled patron and with disabled parking spots 15-20 spots away from the store (too far to utilize using a walker) we parked in the only spot available right in front. Pillars, cars, concrete parking markers, planters, and the like create a labyrinth of obstacles. When staff saw my struggle to enter the store the gawking at first was interesting but the ignoring that ensued afterwards was disturbing. The staff present lack the maturity to prescribe to any level of empathy. To think that my family and myself have been patronizing this lovely store since I was in my teens, now in my mid-40’s my patronage is coming to an end because accessibility is not offered. I realize that the strip mall management is responsible for parking however the carts can be placed elsewhere to provide a bit more accessibility to those patrons who don’t have wings. Inclusion is the future and necessary for establishments like Aptos Natural Foods to survive. Sad common sense just doesn’t come naturally to Aptos Natural Foods. ~~~~~~~~~~ 06/09/2020 Aria, How kind of you to respond after 2 months. I just tried calling your store, spoke to Pepper, and you were busy, I was asked to email you. I just now had a call from your store with no one answering my "hello". On the day I visited I left my phone number with your staff for a manager to call me. What I experienced is serious, renting or not. Now, offering a disabled individual "physical" assistance and to call in advance? Patronizing to say the least. I'm curious, if I came back and if I called what then?

Just found this place, so I have only been one time, but feel like I found my new go-to. Friendly people, amazing quality items and they really take social distancing and sanitation seriously. They have a lot of organic food with healthy ingredients and they make use of every inch of that place very effectively. The mandatory hand sanitizer upon entry is how everyone should be doing things.

A well run gem. Clean, organized, extremely well stocked, you can shop here & find very high quality foods. They have a great body care section also vitamins. They have cool gifts here too, so it's a store that's got something for everyone. Staff is courteous & knowledgeable.

Love that I can still shop quickly in a smaller community health food store. Very nice, knowledgeable staff and aware. You will find what you need and they now carry Luxe Lotion and Lip Balm so I love it even more.

Absolutely love this store and the new ownership. They have the most incredible fresh organic Sourdough bread that is similar to the bread what I am use to when visiting Europe. The selection of specialty foods is incredible, even for those with allergies. Grateful for this store!
