Friendly place with helpful staff. Called ahead to see if they had the part we need. They did. The greeted us at the door, very friendly. Got our part quickly. Chill vibe throughout the place. Would recommend and use again.

Had the “pleasure” of coming here for a 10$ banger. Was in an out in less than 5 minutes and went next door for less than 5 minutes, all in all was back to my car in 10 minutes, came back to my car booted by wheel blockers. I called the number and it took the man 30 minutes to show up saying I had been there for an hour and said I had 15 minutes to give him 200$ to get the boot off, and if I don’t once the tow truck gets there he can’t take payment anymore. So I basically got told 200$ or I lose my car to impound. When I showed the man the receipt of me being in highlife literally 7 minutes ago he didn’t care. A simple 10 minute, 10$ run turned into an over 2 hour ordeal with police after the man assaulted me with his vehicle. I will be telling everyone I know about this and will never do business with high life as long as they use wheelblockers. Literal extortion over parking in there, even though I was doing business. Go next door to Cali Vapors (park in the ice cream shop and walk there) they have better prices, give you discounts and have better products, and it’s literally next door and you’ll have a much better experience.

This is probably the first time I have ever reviewed a place on Google, but I feel like I really should, the employees there are always very helpful and polite if you're in the plaza midwood area, stop on by 🙂

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the High Life Smoke Shop Central location, where I have been a loyal customer for years, always spending a significant amount of money. A few days ago, I purchased a GeekVape Aegis III Kit and, after showing the receipt, I attempted to return it because it didn't work. Initially, I thought the issue was with the batteries I bought from another store, but after several trips back and forth, I realized the problem was with the GeekVape Aegis III Kit itself. I contacted GeekVape, and they advised me to return the kit to the store. I called High Life Smoke Shop, showed proof of the call, and was advised to bring it back. Despite living 45 minutes away, I made the trip, only to be told by Manager Daisy that she could not exchange the device. There was no empathy or understanding from her. I have always supported this store, even when Cali Vapors Elite Smoke Shop moved next door with three times the selection. This experience was incredibly disappointing. Please do not shop here; they do not care about their loyal customers.
