If I had to describe Fig and Thistle in only a few words i would use warm, charming and ever helpful to describe this diamond in the rough. The Dispensary scene varies around San Francisco and experiences differ on where you go from the good, the bad and all the way to the ugly. Ive been frequenting Fig and thistle for the last two years (less now due to cutting down) and I have only good things to say. The atmosphere and community built inside the little store really reflects the vibe of Hayes valley. Even though it can be very easy to overlook and miss this little gem I would recommend visiting at least once. Prices are good and the vibes are right. Big shoutout to all the wonderful staff there (you know who you are) and the funny security guards holding down the front door. Appreciate you all!

Man, what a great experience! I purposely try to avoid throwing 5 star reviews around so theres always a room for improvement but Fig and Thistle’s staff really went above and beyond. From their selection, to the expertise, and the classic San Francisco vibes that all us locals truly miss. I was able to choose some great products and learn some history about the community they are trying to bring together, something SF lacks these days. I highly recommended stopping by, meeting the team and purchasing some products! The store had a great selection of brands to choose from. Most important, the facility and staff were Covid SAFE.

First time Cali visitor, so I had to go to a dispensary. My local friends guided me to this spot. We went later at night when the store was empty, the bouncer checking our ids had a slight issue because 2 of us were New Yorkers and their software has issues with NY ids, but once we were let it the vibes were choice. Also he was super nice and talked to us while we were waiting for the software to kick in. The dude behind the counter was also so nice!! He helped me pick out some edibles and was very knowledgeable, he also helped me pick out some joints to bring the husband. He talked me through all my options. Told me about the brands, their history. I was so impressed I bought everything he recommended, plus more. I would definitely come back to this place. If you’re around and you want a lil something something, check this spot out.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with huge smiles. My fiancé and I traveled from Seattle to SF to get our favorite flower(A Golden State) and they made it worth the trip to say the least. Sarah took very good care of us and even gave us some Golden State swag! Best store in the Bay Area no doubt. Go holler at Sarah and ask about A Golden State flower. She’ll take good care of you.
