Failed to verify that my migraine medication was in stock at another location before sending me 30 minutes out of my way to pick it up- only to find out they also didn’t have it. That store then filled it for their location rather than this location. I called to have script transferred back on Wednesday- it is now Friday and they are telling me it won’t be ready until Monday. My migraines can’t wait until Monday.
They also said I didn’t call early enough yesterday for today’s order even though I actually called 2 days ago.
I ended up going through rite aid who was not only able to tell me accurately which location had my medication in stock TODAY- but also doesn’t have borderline harassing phone calls telling me my script isn’t ready yet.
Thank you for nothing but unnecessary suffering.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with CVS pharmacy that I feel compelled to share with the public. It is my hope that my review will serve as a cautionary tale for anyone relying on this pharmacy for their prescription medication needs.
One of the most glaring issues I encountered was CVS's consistent lack of important prescription medications. It was shocking and frustrating to discover that they were frequently out of stock on medications that I rely on for my health and well-being. This lack of inventory not only caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience but also put my health at risk.
What was even more disheartening was the careless attitude displayed by CVS's staff when addressing this issue. Instead of showing genuine concern and empathy for customers in need of medication, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. The lack of accountability and disregard for the impact their actions had on my health was truly disconcerting.
Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding medication availability added to the frustration. There were no proactive measures taken to inform customers about potential delays or alternatives. Instead, I was left to navigate the situation on my own, wasting valuable time and energy on hold waiting to speak with a pharmacy representative.
This careless and indifferent attitude towards customers needing medication when they are out of stock is simply unacceptable. CVS pharmacy should prioritize the well-being and health of their customers, ensuring that essential medications are consistently available. The lack of responsibility and empathy displayed by the staff is a clear indication of a work culture issue that needs to be addressed.
I strongly advise against relying on CVS pharmacy for your prescription medication needs. The frequent unavailability of important medications and the careless attitude towards customers in need is a significant concern. It is crucial to find a pharmacy that values customer well-being and takes the necessary steps to ensure medication availability and provide compassionate care.
Find alternate pharmacy in advance.

I truly feel bad for the employees at CVS. The pharmacy staff is always flustered over the system. Medicines end up being double billed. I had to contest many charges with my bank. Even their prepaid system will display things as ordered but not prepaid even though the email confirmation says paid. One time in the evening a tech just sighed and say, “I believe you. Just take it. Let CVS fix it.” Wow… you’re going to do that to your employees?
tl;dr: CVS has a terrible pharmacy system. Customers get the runaround and their staff bears the brunt.

We received EXCELLENT service from the pharmacist, Amy, and the manager, Bora, when we went to CVS to get our vaccines. We had some confusion with our insurance and they took the time to resolve our issue with patience, empathy and smiles!
