20 emails with them about how their latest silver surfer model with upgraded ruby balls stem doesn't work I had to finally just let Amex handle these guys. I've sent videos and tried to make this aweful unit work. The "handsfree" attachment is a thin piece of plyable metal and it's a joke, it doesn't hold the tube straight, therefore air seepage...therefore all you get is lots of air in the unit or herbs. Doesn't heatup even after 10 minutes on full blast. Customer Servie wasn't willing to help them help me troubleshoot but they must have forgot the videos . They in turn told me to watch a video that would solve my problems...never attached video...so had to contact again. Video says to mess with the "handsfree attachement" which I did and refuse to fight with this piece of metal or these people. They said they would refund only $200 of my $300, not acceptable. I had Amex return my money. Of course they said that in 20 years they haven't had a problem👌🏻The first link in their customer service signature line is the refund policy on how they actually won’t fully refund the purchase.
Update: These people have replied to a review in their physical location shop. The owner admits to “In 20 years we have had 1000's of problems, that we have been able to solve nearly every single time.” Well thousands of problems don’t sound good to me. I have left their response here. How many contradictions can you count?? “They are always available for support” but admit to missing my calls because spread thin. “The silver surfer is the best” but the upgrades to the ruby balls slows down and hinders the heating. “The hand free attachment does work well” but you’ll just have to mess with it forever. These guys👎🏻.

I can assure you the baller upgrade works, there is a differnce on the intensity of the hit and if yours is not working, we for sure want to solve this, as there is nothing better on the market. To address your HFA issue. This is bendable because all our heater coves and wands are hand made. There is a slight differnce. As well as the baller series sits a 1-2mm closer to the housing, it is the only way we can make it work, but with the ability to bend the HFA, it works perfectly. And no, it is NOT aluminum, aluminum would not be able to hold the tension. The way it is designed for sure is that with the HFA, the wand and heater cover make a great connection. Now to the not heating up part. This does seem out of ordinary. With the rubies, it does take a little longer to heat up than the standard, also a great reason you can leave the SSV on and set it and forget it.

I am Steve, I have dealt with Theresa to address all of these issues. In 20 years we have had 1000's of problems, that we have been able to solve nearly every single time. Many issues brought up have made the SSV the best of the best. Life is not perfect, but I can assure you that you will get no better service from any other vape company out there. We do take your calls, we do have a lot of videos to help, and while I agree we could use more, we are a small company of a handful of people trying our best.
