Helpful, patient, kind and friendly, thank you CVS employees for making my experience a good one. I keep shopping CVS now due to the healthy environment you employees have provided us customers. Thank You! You're awesome!

Picked up an antibiotics prescription for my daughter here. When we got the medicine home, it was a powder instead of a liquid. The pharmacy was supposed to add a precise amount of water, but forgot. When we called, they just told us to add 12 mL ourselves instead of admitting fault. This could have been a dangerous error for someone who didn't realize the medication was supposed to be liquid.

I won't shop here anymore even though the store is clean and stocked on the account of the poor customer service. I had a banana peel to discard while buying my item and a rude employee refused to allow me to discard in the employee register trash, telling me to walk down the street. If I had used the restroom it would've had a trash it was just a favor and they didn't have to touch it just grab the trash and let me discard. I spoke with Supervisor Lynn who said "I'll do it just this once" and explained further that corporate (not the store) has handed down a policy for no floor trashes which makes perfect sense however I was asking to simply throw away a fruit peel in their personal trash. Lynn also described the situation as "all or nothing" in regards to this policy. I resort to poor service and stubbornness as the culprit as opposed to policy. If I stated this same request at another CVS this wouldn't have been the case. The staff needs to be trained the difference between people abusing the business vs. a kind customer making a basic request to discard a single piece of trash.

I love my local CVS on Front St. in Santa Cruz. I live downtown and shop there frequently. Many of the checkers know my name (shout-out to Ebony and Vanessa!) and greet me nicely.

Everyone that works here has always been super nice and helpful. Staff is always in a good mood which reflects on their customer service. It's a difficult store with tourists, college students, and more all centering at this location, but they make it a positive experience every time. They prioritize keeping lined down and customers moving. Great job here!
