We visited SantaCann last week with my crew of veterinary staff that came down to Ecuador to assist with a pet sterilization program. Luis and Kimberly were fantastic hosts. We learned all about medicinal plants including cannabis and then we had an amazing tea ceremony and organic lunch. I would highly recommend visiting this amazing sanctuary in the mountains just off the coast! What an eye opening experience.

Visited SantaCann in February with my (adult) son. What a charming oasis! The owner himself gave us a very informative tour which included fascinating facts about the history of medicinal cannabis, how and why it was demonized and it's truly valuable contribution to the future of science and medicine. We then saw the green house with plants in various stages of development and got to speak with the scientist in charge of cultivation. My son is studying plant biology at university, so this part of the tour was of particular interest. I then headed to the lovely open air tea room where I leisurely read while my son was treated to a therapeutic massage and we rounded out our day with a delicious traditional Ecuadorian lunch. Before leaving, our knowledgeable hostess, Kim, loaded us up with health supportive herbs, plants and powders. It was a magical day! Thank you Luis, Kim & the staff at SantaCann!

Located on the same site as Soluna Sanctuary, SantaCann is a space filled with life and well-being. There are talks and information about the cultivation and benefits of medicinal cannabis is shared. Very interesting! You can also purchase (I did) some of the medicinal cannabis plants, which meet all the legal requirements for growing at home. The site is run by its owners, with great attention to detail! Reservations are required!

It's a beautiful place, like a hidden corner where you can feel the love with which things are made. I took the cannabis history tour and found it very comprehensive and informative. Luis is a pleasure to listen to and knows a lot about what he's talking about. A visit to Santa Can is highly recommended. It's good to take the time to be there because you won't want to leave.
