I usually use walgreens but they closed early due to not having a pharmacist. I am in severe pain and needed my script tonight. I went to the little cvs in Excelsior and just received the best customer service. It was so great we have decided to leave walgreens. The pharmacist went out of her way to explain things and get my script ready super fast. Thank you so much!!!!

EDIT- So once agin i dont have enough seizure meds for my child for a whole month because they can never measure out the medication right and like always no one answers the phone or wants to make stuff right. So i guess when my child has a siezure and dies im gonna sue.
It's real nice when they always wait till last minute to order my child's seizure meds. They don't care if they are a the reason a child has to go to the hospital because of a seizure that could kill him. The only answer I ever get is that medicaid doesn't go through the same company that they do to get the medication. But when I call to order his meds it tells me one date and then all of a sudden on that date I call and they change when it'll be ready. All while not giving me enough of the medication for the amount of time that it takes for them to refill it. I can't go to Walmart either because they won't accept the prescription for one of the meds as the Dr who prescribed it has a license out of Missouri and Kansas. We have no other pharmacies in town. But cvs doesn't care and continues to have rude customer service that literally gives me no answers.

I wouldn’t give even 1 star. Never ever answer their phone. I have been in there when the phone has rang off the hook and no one answers to even acknowledge it. If they don’t know how to answer landlines then go away. I cannot stand Walmart pharmacy or Walgreens but I’m starting to think they would be better. One day I called about 10 times and let the phone ring. No one even attempted to answer. BAD WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS. Don’t make the excuse that there’s not enough help. Excelsior Springs CVS you can do better, at least I hope so. If you can’t then keep your doors locked and lights off and walk away.

Horrendous customer service. I was trying to get a refill and explain the situation and instead got yelled at and transferred.

The store has had some turnover with staff. The business has picked up. Everyone working seems to want to help. Remember to be patient with your pharmacy staff, there's a lot behind the scenes.
