One of the best record stores in the Twin Cities. They have a very good selection of new vinyl and decent used selection. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I also recommend becoming a VIP and get a dollar off every record.

Went in to buy some quickfix, I ask if I could check the validation thing after purchasing, the manager then comes over and claims they only buy from verified sources, and I said okay so there shouldn’t be any issue checking, as in the past I’ve been burned. Not sure if he thought I was insulting his business or what I simply wanted to check, companies put those scan codes on their products for a reason and for peace of mind.

Down In The Valley is a unique place for records, posters, smoke, dvds, and random cool stuff. Definitely a place you can spend some time and explore. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

After trying to find several old and new release vinyls at Cheapo with zero success I gave these guys a call - they had pretty much everything on my list and held them at the counter until I could make it there. Nice employees and good vibes too.

I purchased some vinyl records from here. I opened a new one and it was unplayable. I returned to the store for a refund or exchange and was told they would flatten the record. I received a call a day later and was told it could not be flattened, that it wasn’t a factory defect, and said it was heat damaged and implied I had done it. They will not refund me for the damaged new record that they sold me.
