I hate to give this place 3 stars. The older lady that works there is wonderful! She's so friendly and good and efficient at her job. The owner is great as well. Great prices and a clean shop. However, I have now had 3 bad experiences with the other man that works weekends. We live across the street, and are in here at least on a weekly basis for 2 years. The staff knows us and what we ate coming in for. We try to be polite and courteous to make their jobs as easy as possible. I had worked extra hours one day, come in to buy cigarettes and cash in a lotto ticket. I barely made it before they closed. He refused to cash out my lottery ticket because he had already started closing the register. Now I worked in retail for many, many years. I understand how frustrating it is when a customer comes in last minute. But you smile, handle their business, and curse them after they leave if you feel the need! You NEVER refuse a customer business just because its 15 minutes before close. And yet another time, I went in to cash in lotto tickets for laundry. (Which I routinely do with any winners as it's an easy way to always make sure I have cash for the laundromat. I have never had a problem doing it before. This was a $27 winner. So I asked for change, not just a $20. Again he refused. I said, "o, do you not have change in your till?" He said "yes I do. Not for you." And handed me the $20. I took my money, and walked out. I will not be doing business here when this man is working. It's such a shame that one lazy, rude employee can ruin it for an otherwise great and, in my case, very convenient shop.

Doesn't matter the time of day I stop in I get greeted warmly. Always a good joke or two before I leave. Small store with big values. Great people behind the counter. If you are looking for a specific item just ask. They will give you a straight answer whether they have it or can get it .

Awesome little liquor and smoke store. Owner and his wife are awesome people crucial genuine care for the community.

Use to love this place Went in today and the old white man clerk thought it was a good idea to share his 'view of the end of the world' with me. Did you guys know this was our last 4th of July? This guy didn't hesitate to tell me! Very disturbing and disappointed. Do NOT recommend.

Happy and his wife are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Happy has many regulars that come to his shop not only because of the good products and service, but because they enjoy seeing him so much. Good shop owned by good people!
