Funny story, so my wife and I are at Hilmy Cellars in the Hill Country on Sunday and ran into a couple. The husband owns this store chain and well some other stuff out west. We talked for over an hour and he educated me on the current scene in TX, not what it was when I looked into it like 3 years ago, they’ve figured out some loop hole stuff with the 2018 Ag bill. I was doing some photography of the art pillars under I35 and it’s hot, too hot for February so I wanted a beer at Growler Exchange, lo and behold Gras is right next door! Met Dey (pronounced D) who was very helpful and seemed a SME to me. While I was in the store there was this guy, bit of a character, who was absolute expert who does Ag consulting and legislative lobbying type work who schooled me on the growing side of the business. I might be calling the owner to open a new location with him! Lol we will see…one can dream!

Always such calming energy in this amazing place. Keep up the top-notch customer service! It's so refreshing. I had the most pleasurable experience getting recommendations and casual friendly conversation from Dey. Her vibe was extremely positive and I left actually a little bit more inspired. Thank you guys for raising such a high bar. I highly recommend!!!

Super knowledgeable, staff for experts, and the novice. They have a clean place, plenty of parking, and they always have great deals. I stop by once a week just to water my spirit.
