Today I went to A #1 smoke shop. Rich was super helpful, I had no clue what I was looking for and her walked through everything with me. He gave me his honest opinion on each items. He was really great & helpful. I left very happy. If anyone is in jersey city I highly recommend this place. I definitely will be coming back!

I moved to North Jersey 6 months ago but continued going to NYC because I hadn't found a local smoke shop that I liked and/or that wasn't a rip off. A #1 is my new go to place! Without a second thought, I would recommend this place to anyone and know that they are in good hands. Rich is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain different product lines/options which are reasonably priced and makes solid recommendations. Definitely an amazing part of the small business community in The Heights! I consider my recommendation and accolades nearly impossible to get but A #1 gets my approval 100%... will definitely be a repeat customer!

I’ve had the most positive experiences at A#1 smoke shop. Every question I’ve had about a kit were answered and explained thoroughly. Any new items they had I was introduced to. Previous smoke shops I’ve been to weren’t as interactive and weren’t that interested in trying to explain their products. The owner is definitely knowledgeable of the selections he has and I highly recommend going there.

Absolutely love this smoke shop!!! Rich, the owner, is one of the most awesome people. He not only completely knows what he's talking about when it comes to his products, he is always super welcoming and friendly. I'm in here a few times a month and he is always fully stocked with whatever I need. I always love coming here and I highly suggest checking this place out, definitely the best smoke shop in the area!

Don't let the phone book name fool you, A #1 is absolutely "A #1" - ! This smoke shop has been around for years. And there's good pizza at the restaurant next door. Double win! Both the owner and the weekend guy are knowledgeable about the products they sell and they really want to see to it that you make the right decision and end up with a product you're happy with, even if it takes more than one visit to commit to something. The prices and selection are comparable to what you'll find online, plus they have their own online store. A #1 will also help you with special orders if they don't stock what you're looking to buy. Great local business!
