I recently visited The Hemp Company in Raleigh and was assisted by two young gentlemen and a young lady. All three were personable, patient, and noticeably knowledgeable about the products they carry. The customer service alone deserves five stars — this team is absolutely worth keeping, and they represent the store exceptionally well. My reason for deducting stars comes down to product variety and pricing when compared to what I typically purchase from a medical dispensary. The store primarily carried a few notable brands, including Wildwoods and Habit. I’m personally not a fan of Habit products; I’ve purchased dozens of their disposable vapes in the past, and they consistently clog or leak despite being stored upright and handled as recommended. The flavor profiles also tend to lean grassy and harsh — reminiscent of traditional THC-A flower rather than a refined vape experience. On this visit, I decided to try a Wildwoods disposable because the store had one of my favorite strains: Peaches and Cream. I’m pleased to say I was genuinely impressed. The flavor was clean and vibrant, with a noticeable limonene-forward profile, and the device itself was low-maintenance and easy to use. While the taste does have that slightly grassy THC-A note, it’s expected and not unpleasant. The effects were fast-acting — a relaxing head high with some facial tingling and mild disorientation. Nothing overwhelming, but I wouldn’t recommend using it before going somewhere unfamiliar if you’re prone to anxiety. In comparison to the products I purchase from Thrive Maryland, Wildwoods actually held its own and, in some ways, surpassed their disposables. However, the pricing is nearly identical, and medical dispensaries tend to offer far better promotions and deals, which makes a difference over time. Would I return? Yes — especially in a pinch. If I don’t have a trip to D.C. planned, The Hemp Company in Raleigh is a solid option to tide me over. The staff made the visit enjoyable, and I appreciated their willingness to help.

Do not go here I just bought a 43 dollar thca vape and it tastes absolutely terrible after 2 days I got it and they won’t do any refunds or anything except exchanging for the same exact vape and on top of that they are not refunding after they gave a $300 order to me by accident and I was nice enough to give it back now they won’t refund and I’m left with a junk vape I should have kept the other persons order

10/10 experience I was able to speak with Liz regarding a vending opportunity and the way she communicated throughout multiple platforms, made sure I was good to go, customer service is top tier. Karina and Chris were very nice when I came in to grab a little pick me up. Karina is very knowledgeable about her products. She makes you feel at ease when you come in if that be an avid pro or just starting out in the this world. I’m super excited to come back. Super excited about Hempfest 2025!!!!
