Even in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I live, I choose Vitamin Shoppe for all my supplement needs because of the knowledge of their employees and the quality and wide selection of their products. At this particular location, Courtney, an employee, was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the products I was inquiring about. I was looking for products for anxiety, stress, and sleeplessness and she was able to give me information as to which supplements would be better than others. I love that she was honest about which products she thought would not be helpful at all, instead of trying to upsell, selling me products I would not need just to make the store more money. The one thing I am truly grateful to her for is keeping the store open past closing time to help me. I called the store 5 minutes before closing to beg them to stay open because I would arrive two minutes after their closing time, and she agreed to do so. She was incredible patient with me as I asked numerous questions, keeping her from her closing duties, when I'm sure she was more than ready to leave. I also, it having been a long day and having picked out many items to purchase, kept forgetting what certain supplements were for, and she patiently explained things to me again.
