Always helpful, Always learning on visits. Great store.

I’ve been going here for two years, if not even longer. After my experience today, Herbal Planet will not receive another cent from me. I entered the store with a friend and immediately we were asked by an employee, if there was something she could help us find. I stated, no and let her know that we were pretty familiar with the store and their products, but thanks for offering.

It was as if I had never spoken, we were absolutely followed, hovered over and watched the entire time. It felt like we were under constant surveillance. At one point, my friend and I separated (as we were shopping for different items). I watched in disbelief as the girl at the “security desk” stared intently at my friend on the surveillance monitor screen as she shopped.

I immediately put everything away and walked over to let my friend know what I’d seen. Needless to say, she put her items back on the shelves and we exited- never to enter again.

All of your customers are not criminals and/or thieves! Some of us are honest, hardworking business owners who are just trying to support a local business.

Edit: After speaking with other colleagues, I have come to the conclusion that this was not an isolated occurrence. As of lately, the practice of following patrons around and watching them- to the point of making them uncomfortable is a normal practice.
