Yesterday was my first time at this particular vape shop. I only smoke Juul although I decided to try some ELF bars. When I got home one of them continued to hit even after I stopped inhaling, no biggie a faulty vape is not their fault, but they closed not long after I left so I went in today to try to exchange it. This is where my frustration begins.

Their policy is that disposables must be hit prior to leaving the store. The issue is this policy cannot be found anywhere. Posted in store? "No, someone threw the sign away." On the receipt? Nope. Told to you at checkout? "Well, we are supposed to, although one of the employees is new and they keep forgetting. Plus they don't know whether customers are regulars or not so..." WHERE CAN THE POLICY BE FOUND? "Written on a notebook in the back"... the only place is somewhere inaccessible to customers.

I don't write bad reviews, I work in customer service, and I know that customers are NOT always right, but this is an instance where it's very reasonable for me to be upset. I would've taken a second upon leaving to insure it's working right had that been communicated verbally or in writing. Or today, a simple "i'll let the employee know to be more diligent about telling customers and we'll get a sign up! lets exchange it and you'll know for next time" would've been a perfect way to solve this.

The shop was clean, and the employee helping me last night was very nice. I understand making newbie mistakes; it's the lack of notice in its entirety that peeves me.

Tested a novo 5 in the parking lot, didn’t work and they just said nothing I can do and told me to buy another one
