just bought a small bottle of Bioborn at the heritage store and it was expired. The expiration date was May 2022. Naturally, I went to return it (about 15-20min after buying it) and I was told this big elaborate story. The company sends them 2,000 of these bottles and the heritage has to check each bottle for broken seals and dates within a week in order to return it. The heritage said that it’s impossible to do that. I can see how that would be difficult. We walked over to where I got the bottle and looked at the other bottles and they had an Expiration date of July 2027. The manager immediately said they couldn’t exchange the bottle because the employees check the bottles every week, and then proceeded to say it’s only $8 so it’s not a big deal. Okay, $8 isn’t a big deal, but selling expired medicine (natural or not) is actually unethical. As a nurse I won’t take expired meds and felt I should at least let people know to check the expiration date because the Heritage will not exchange it.

I took my mom here last night. I’ve lived here for years and have never been here and I will probably not be going back again. The older Asian woman insulted and offended my mother in-front of me. Just because she’s never had children and she’s has small figure doesn’t mean you’ve taken care of yourself. People are built differently and that shouldn’t be frowned upon. I really hope she’s not the owner because she is killing her own business. She walked past us probably 10-15 times in the 20 minutes we were there like we were going to steal something. I felt completely unwelcome here and if I had needed help I would have asked for it. She followed my mom and I around the store recommending all the things we would look at a little too long and said that we should buy it. Not coming back here, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. If I wanted to be pestered I would’ve gone to a car dealership.

Great selection, but cashier watched me shop like I was going to pocket something. Literally stood at the end of the isle with her arms crossed, staring at me. I was going to buy many things, but she made me so uncomfortable that I went straight to the register, bought my 2 items, and bolted. Sad when you want to support local businesses and this is how you are treated.
