Greed-flation!

Now that the neighborhood is gentrified they think the rich people, that have overpaid for the houses that they live in that area, won’t mind paying more money. Lucky’s is getting greedy for profit.
Not only did Lucky’s raise the prices of their handmade signature sandwiches from $5.00 to $6.99 at the deli, they reduced the amount of meat on it. (Shrink-flation!) You think we wouldn’t notice?
The sandwich used to be stacked with meat and toppings. Now only one and half pieces of meat! You’re mostly paying for veggies as toppings! The store has always been high priced compared to other grocery stores. They carry generic paper products at name brand prices. It’s just food and food shouldn’t cost this much!
Lucky’s Supermarket on Clifton Boulevard near W. 117th St. is jumping on the bandwagon of inflation when there’s no need to. By the way, they also raised the prices of just about everything in the store and shrank the quantity of Items to make it appear like you’re getting the same thing, but you’re not.

The best subs you can get in a supermarket. I recommend the one with roast beef and add a little horseradish sauce. Beautiful store with a lot of variety of high quality products. Very nice and friendly staff especially Isabel at the check out counter, she is always very happy, smiling and is basically an adorable human being. The day I won't see her smiling the world will not make sense. You should hire more people like her
