Sam's has been here forever, a great smoke shop with helpful staff. While they may not be overly friendly they will recognize you and remember you.

They have excellent prices on glass. I have been in some more "local" ones that claim to sell only custom small batch made glass but saw a few pieces that look suspiciously like ones at Sam's for x2 the price.

It is a U district staple and have been patronizing them for over 15 years.

Sams has the best prices in the U District by far!! I get a can of American Spirit rolling tobacco, and he is $12 cheaper than other shops in the Ave. Always great service!! And he has AMAZING pipes, smoking accessories, huge selection, and great prices
This is the only tobacco shop I go to now
