I’ve been using this CVS for a few years, but I plan on switching locations soon. I don’t necessarily think it’s the employees’ faults - I’m guessing it’s poorly managed and understaffed.
Whenever I pick up my meds, I can expect to wait in line for around 30 minutes which is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I’ve even gone at different days/times of the week, and it’s always busy with long waits no matter when I go. Recently, I ran out of a necessary medication and my app said it was “in progress” and “delayed” for several days. When I asked the staff about it, they said it was out of stock and that they hadn’t unloaded some boxes of a new shipment due to being overworked and understaffed, and that the medication was probably in there but they won’t know until they have the time to unbox it.
I had to wait another 20 minutes to talk to the pharmacist to see what other locations had my medication in stock. She was very frantic when talking to me because she was running around and extremely busy. The next morning, my app still says my medication is in progress and delayed, so I’m going to have to call those other locations and request I pick up my medication there, if they’re even still in stock.
Overall, this last experience was the final straw in my decision to switch cvs locations. I plan on switching to the cvs in target because it seems to have better reviews and I don’t recall it being extremely busy when I’m shopping at target.

No one answers the phone. Dr put in 2 emergency orders to get prescription filled because we were almost out. It always showed delayed on the app. Kept calling to check with no answer. This was over several days, multiple times of day calling. Had to go in, wait in line for 30 mins for someone to confirm that there are 2 emergency orders in their system. Still wasn't ready for pick up. They said it will be ready in 30 mins. Came back an hour later and it wasn't ready. Waited at the pick up window for 5 minutes while they filled it. This is unacceptable and we will be transferring our prescriptions away from CVS.

They hire friendly, caring and professional staff who still understand what Customer Service is all about. Thanks CVS. That's WHY your company will still be around when others are gone.

On hold for 45 minutes, never ended up getting through. Was trying to request a prescription transfer so it requires that I speak to a real human being. I had to hang up because I was literally about to lose my mind between the hold music and the terrible automated reminder to download their piece of garbage CVS app on my phone. Either hire more people or train the ones working there to pick up the mf phone.
