After experiencing chronic disequilibrium and balance issues (dizziness) for over a month, and much research and reading various peer-reviewed articles in medical journals, I decided to try CBD to determine if it would help ease my symptoms. I am a Ph.D. biologist and have been curious for a long time about the reputed effectiveness of CBD in reducing inflammation, pain, and the anxiety resulting from these ailments. My doctor told me my balance issues may stem from a probable ear infection that caused inflammation of the eighth cranial nerve from my inner ear to my brain. This combined with visual information and info coming from my inflamed knee joints (due to arthritis), etc was creating conflicting inputs to my brain, causing stress and anxiety that made the problem worse. So I contacted the Carolina Hemp store in Locust and received lots of great advice and two different forms of CBD (gummies and oil) by overnight mail. After just two days, I would say my symptoms are not completely gone, but at least 80% resolved. I am now a solid CBD convert and will continue using it to reduce my symptoms until I can be tested at a clinic in late August to determine the exact cause of my balance issues. I can now walk again without feeling like I'm going to fall on my face. My anxiety is gone.
