*EDIT* 1 star update. Those new prices and hours I mentioned they now offer due to the new local vape shop entering town? Paid for by getting rid of my two favorite reasons for visiting this shop: loyal employees Anne and Anna, who I chatted with every time I visited and always tipped. I’ve been a regular at this shop, and this has left such a bad taste in my mouth. I wish I could still stay in touch with them! Anne & Anna, if you're ever in the neighborhood, you can catch me around! I shop in the plaza, eat there, etc. all the time. I hope we can meet again! Whenever I’d tip, Anne and Anna always noted how they earned a good, competitive wage and that I should not feel compelled to tip. It is all to obviously that the shop owner has made a business decision to pay his employees less and make them work new hours. So many other ways he could’ve achieved lower costs and earlier/later hours. For starters, by paying attention to the needs of his customers (see my note about poor restocking in the original review below). These new employees seem wonderfully kind and I have nothing against them❤️. The owner, however, has lost my business. If you want a better selection, friendly service, and a true local vape experience, go down the block (literally like 8 stores to the left of this one) and visit Diamond Lake Vapes instead. But know that this business got rid of good people just to pay new employees to work for less money and more hours. ________________ Lansdowne Vapes & Cigars has been a local favorite of mine for the better part of maybe six months at this point. I only ever stop in to purchase a few specific products, but when you walk in, it is obvious that they have a LOT of products to look at. The first half of the shop has cigar, tobacco, and hookah "vibes," while the second half focuses on vape products and "newer age" accessories. This is a classy shop, and I've heard that it's something the owner deliberately focuses on. The layout of the store and the amazing staff are what really drive the "classy" vibe. I know several employees by name--Ann(e?) and Anna; they are so kind and fun to talk to, that they are honestly the main reason I keep coming back to the store. There are some restocking issues with select products that make it difficult to keep this store as my "go-to" spot. They still have the empty boxes of my favorite products on the shelves, but I cleared out their stock months ago and they've still not yet restocked. Because of this, I've found myself traveling further into Leesburg (shout-out to Yalal at Tobacco King and Vape!) to get the particular products that I use regularly. These restocking issues are why I've knocked the review from five stars to four. Recently, Lansdowne Vapes and Cigars has globally lowered their prices, and set an additional storewide discount as part of that rollout. They also changed their opening and closing hours; they're now open for the rise-and-shiners at 8AM, and the night owls at 11PM, seven days a week. I am sure these changes are because another vape shop, Diamond Tobacco & Vape, has opened down the block from this one. I think the extra competition in the Lansdowne area is welcome. It will motivate both businesses to stay fresh and focused on customer needs (including restocks)! I like both stores enough that I am not going to pick sides and say one is indisputably better than the other. What I will say is that both shops cannot have every product from every category on their shelves at the same time. If both shops commit to having a diverse product range, and if they somehow maintain a distinct and differing selection of brands, varieties, flavors, and so on, then I think both businesses will continue to thrive in the Lansdowne area.

i came in with 35$ cash looking to buy a grinder and Nazim a new employee working his first day at the store alone assisted me and he treated me so well and made sure i received exactly what i wanted and i’m definitely coming back to this store if i need to buy anything else (Nazim was able to accommodate every request and issue i had very well done)

The worst customer service and store. The sales person is rude and arrogant. Sells a 80$ hookah for 160$.

Very friendly and welcoming staff's there. My daughter introduced me to Vaping since I wanted to quit smoking. Very good looking young man named Suraj took his time to give me Very reasonable varieties of options to choose from. She always speaks very highly of him. I'm giving them 5 Stars! He denied my offer from paying him a decent Tip.

Vapes are the most expensive in the area, cigars are reasonable but no prices on the wall, sloppy setup, doesn’t even seem clean, and bad service. They default their point of sale to 15% tip, what? Another place with no service and oblivious people and and expected tip for doing nothing but ringing up a cigar I pulled myself. Then when you do tip, no thank you, come again, or anything. The people working there have no clue, can’t even switch out receipt paper to give you a receipt. Hard to even have a conversation with someone that works there. I went a few times out of convenience and I just won’t go back again.. 3 strikes.
