I love this little market; it's conveniently located next to my bank, Wells Fargo and is a quick stop to pick up fountain soda. Love the owners, husband and wife. And! They sell Captain Black Cherry Pipe tobacco, the kind my father used to smoke in his pipe! Even though I'm not a smoker, sometimes I just sprinkle a couple tablespoons in a mixture of water over a tea light or as potpourri--and the memories of my dad come flooding back--my dad had a quirk, --When he smoked a pipe he was relaxed. patient, content, ask him anything and he'd say, "yes!" --When he took the time to light a cigar, his mood was "iffy," ask him anything and you could get a yes or a no! --When he lit a cigarette, quick, fast, stay out of his way, he had not patience and he'd always say, "NO!" BTW, he used to be a dentist here in town, Dr. LJ Whalon... some may remember him!
