After a rather absurd visit to our closest smoke shop, Gravitate Smoke, and being totally gipped, my boyfriend & I tried this smoke shop the next day, Habitz. Upon walking in, there was another customer in the store, but only one worker at the counter. We never mind short staff if they’re good staff, so we began looking around to see if they carried a disposable vape section. And I have to say??? EVERYTHING displayed, from nice & elegant glass pieces, to simple wraps, were very nicely lit and displayed. VERY welcoming interior. And the worker that helped us? Even MORE welcoming!! She genuinely helped us, and despite both of us being a bit particular about the flavors of disposables we buy, she asked questions throughout our whole conversation, and seemed to truly care about what we were looking for. After naming a couple vapes we go for, like Cool Mint Evo’s, or Black Mint Lost Mary’s—1., She searched the whole display of the Lost Mary’s they carried for “Black Mint” NOT the Miami Mint, and 2., Even when she hadn’t seen the Cool Mint in Evo at first, the MOMENT she did? She grabbed it and showed it to us up close. And WOW do we appreciate that. It’s the simple things, really, that make the customer experience so much better. And because we were able to see it up close, we were able to see that this Evo wasn’t the same physical model as what we usually smoke! We knew that the model she showed us would taste closer to a hookah/smokey flavor based on past experience. And even though that wasn’t quite what we wanted? She KEPT trying to help us find something we would be happy with, and not in some weird/pushy salesman way. It’s mind-blowing, but this kind of customer service should be commended, because it’s surprisingly rare nowadays. We didn’t ask her name, but we should have! She was wearing a hat, with short braids. She was amazing, and we’ll probably be back, because this was an absolutely refreshing experience compared to the Gravitate down the road. Thank you!
